  1. Hey Erika! I read your blog..looks like you had quiet an adventure. I’m going to Thailand with IVHQ in November. .had a few questions for you.
I wanted bring supplies for the kids im Chiang Rai..any suggestions as to what you think they would benefit from? Anything about the Mirror Foundation that I should be aware of? Also did you get your volunteering assignment once you got there?
I would really appreciate any input!
    Thank you in advance!

    1. Hi Jalpa! You’re going to love it I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. They could definitely use some new children’s books, vocabulary flashcards, and games are always good. Especially if you can find educational games of some kind?

Nothing particular about Mirror, just be prepared for some very cold showers! Since most of the money goes towards supplies it’s not the best of accommodations but the people that you volunteer with become family and you’ll soon be laughing about whatever it was you were complaining about.

Yes, every week you’ll be placed in a different location either on-site or off-site. Off-site weeks are really fun, and you get to stay with the kids and their families or at the school. They’ll lay it all out for you when you get there, but I definitely recommend Pan Village and the hospital on-site.

Hope your experience is as good as mine was! Let me know if you have any more questions!
